Step 3

Congratulations on identifying your values! But the work is not over yet; it is time to prioritize them. You have to decide which value is more important and which value is less important. Your order of priority is crucial in shaping the person you are and the life you lead.

Ask yourself this question: “If you HAD TO abandon all but one of these values, which one would you keep?” This will be your most important value. Move it to the "My True Values" column.

Now do the same with the remaining values, choosing one each time that is the most important to you, moving it to the next number in the "My True Values" column. Once you go through your list, you have your true values in order of importance.
